In this guide, we’ll show you how to delegate your $DYM tokens with Luganodes and start earning rewards in a few simple steps.

Unbonding Period:

• Unbonding period is a timeframe in which the funds are locked when you unstake

• The unbonding period on Dymension is 21-days, after which you can finalize the withdrawal, and the undelegated amount will be transferred to your available balance.

Step-by-Step Staking Guide:

*In this guide we’ll be using Official Dymension portal to stake $DYM tokens

Step 1 — Head over to the Official Dymension portal Step 2— Connect your preferred wallet

• Once you’re on the Official Dymension Portal, click on Connect

• Select your preferred wallet, for the purpose of this guide we'll be using the MetaMask wallet

Step 3— Select your Validator

• Once you’ve selected your preferred wallet click on Search validators.

• Search for Luganodes and click on the Stake button.

Step 4— Select the amount of tokens you want to stake and confirm the transaction

• Once you’ve completed the above steps ,enter the amount of tokens you want to delegate and click on stake

• Sign the transaction in order to confirm it.

• Once you’ve confirmed the transaction, you can see your staked tokens under the My Delegations section.

Step-by-Step Unstaking Guide:

Please note that Unbonding period on Dymension is 21 days and your assets won’t be generating any rewards during that time

Step 1 — Click on Unstake

• Head over to the Official Dymension portal

• Under my Delegations, next to the validator you wish to unstake from, click on the icon and click on Unstake.

Step 2— Unstake your assets

• Enter the amount of $DYX tokens you wish to Unstake and click on Unstake.

Note: Users can return and withdraw their tokens once the unbonding period has ended.
